Mein alter Jugendstil Schreibtisch ist leider kaputt gegangen und musste repariert werden. In dem Zusammenhang wurden gleich noch ein paar Macken wieder ausgebessert. When does a technological survey make sense?

The further technological examination also includes aspects such as:

Information on typical materials, techniques, and design elements helps us make a cultural-historical classification of the object and shed light on the historical everyday production. To come up with results, we have various scientific methods of analysis at our disposal, such as the chemical analysis of binders, UV fluorescence microscopy, UV/Vis/NIR-spectroscopy, or FT-IR spectroscopy.
